Don’t rush the good stuff

Jot down the first thing that comes to your mind.

In an effort to try to be in a relationship, and to have a family before I was too old, I ended up marrying to wrong person. I’m not sad about that, as I have an extended family I wouldn’t give anything for. I love them and I know they love me. But what is truth is that once we got married, I found out within the next year I couldn’t have children. After 4 years together, our marriage started to fall apart.

Once I was divorced, I took time to find me. And that was where things changed. It is so true that once you stop pushing it on yourself is when you find it. You do still have to do the work, to put yourself out there. It’s not just going to fall into your lap. But with prayer, patience and perseverance, I was led to the man I am with now. The person I wouldn’t trade for the world and who I am very happy with.
