What is the greatest gift someone could give you?
The greatest gift I think anyone can give is the gift of their time. In the world we live in today, it is a time of instant gratification, yet we always feel so rushed. Time is precious to everyone, so the fact that you could carve out some of your time for me, well, is just as precious.
This is so true of family and friendships. You truly have to work to maintain these relationships. Especially if you do not live in the same area. I can include myself in the. Fact that, as a nation, we have become dependent on cell phones and text/social media to stay connected. We need to try to be mindful of face to face interaction with each other.
When it is face to face interaction, and no boundaries are being crossed, physical touch, a hug, is important, I believe, as well. At my age, I have seen how quick life can be for some, so it is very important to be in the moment, when the time arises.
So your time, that, to me, is the greatest gift anyone can give me.
